Biography

Sergio was born and raised in Hemet, CA where he eventually started dancing at the age of 16. After dancing only in his high school dance team, Sergio quickly got offered scholarships to attend some local dance studios. There, Sergio was able to gain artistic and technical knowledge in all genres of dance like Musical Theater, Tap, Modern, and much more. Sergio's passion is dance and at the moment, mainly enjoys teaching Contemporary Modern and Ballet but loves all aspects of movement itself. Currently, Sergio attends the University of California, Irvine majoring in Dance Performance and Philosophy. In his current studies, he trains under notable choreographers like Lar Lubovitch and Charlotte Griffin.

Sergio has also done professional musical theater and has toured with Newsies, White Christmas, and West Side Story along the West Coast. Sergio's concert credits include: "Harmonically YOU!" - Choreographed by former principle dancer for the San Francisco Ballet, Vitor Luiz, "Through" - Choreographed by Juilliard choreographer, Charlotte Griffin, "The Last Kingdom" - Choreographed by Tong Wang, and "Do You Be" - Repertory by Lar Lubovitch.

Sergio has a passion for movement and is excited to share his passion and knowledge to the next generation of movers and creators.
