Job description for dance teachers:
- - Teach group classes (8-20 students) lasting an hour
- - Experience in one or more of the following styles: Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, Contemporary
- - Dynamic and positive individuals who can work well with kids
- - Previous experience at other Dance studios is an advantage
Job requirement:
- - At least three years teaching experience
- - Strong background in the dance style you are applying for
- - Must have a degree in dance, or the equivalent education/background
- - Experience with children and enjoy working with children
- Job description/requirement for music teachers
Job description for music teachers:
- - Plan individual lessons for your students (age range from 3 to 99 year old!)
- - Teach individual lessons lasting from 30 minutes to an hour, incorporating elements of general musicianship, ear training and theory, as well as instrumental/vocal technique and interpretation
- - If student is under 18, communicate with parents about their child's lessons and progress
- - Prepare students for performances and recitals (we have at least 6 recitals per year)
Job requirement:
- - At least three years teaching experience
- - Strong background in the instrument you are applying for
- - Must have a degree in music, or the equivalent education/background
- - Experience with children and enjoy working with children
- Willingness to work with parents and students to design personalized lesson plans that cater to a student's independent goals and needs
- Knowledge of ABRSM Practical and Theory Exams or willingness to learn how to prepare students for these exams
- Job description/requirement for art teachers
Job description for art teachers:
- - Can teach drawing and or painting to small groups of school age children
Job requirement:
- - Passionate about teaching
- - Strong background in the art you are applying for
- - Have completed a degree (or is currently completing a degree) in fine art
- - Prior teaching experience is a plus
