Acoustic/Fingerstyle/Contemporary/Classical Guitarist

Biography

Sam is a passionate classical guitarist whose love for his craft has moved and inspired many in his performance and teaching career. He was awarded the prestigious John McEnary Memorial Music Scholarship in 2024 and is also a recipient of the Richard Denner Memorial Scholarship. Sam has captivated audiences with numerous performances, including appearances at The Orange County Guitar Circle at Chapman University, the American Guitar Society at Los Angeles Valley College, and the Vietnamese Classical Guitar Society at the Vietnamese Studies Institute. His extensive repertoire includes solos, duets, quartets, and ensemble performances from 2019 to 2025 at Orange Coast College. Sam has studied with and still under Dr. Adam Pettit, the Professors at USC and former members of grammy award winning LAGW - William Kanengiser, Scott Tennant, and Brian Head. Sam specializes in romantic and Spanish classical/Acoustic guitar and also enjoys playing casual Pop music and a lover of all things Jazz.
